“We had a nightmare of an experience when we booked a bond clean with A1 cleaners. The first clean they did was deemed unacceptable by our property manager so we asked for a reclean and sent photos and extensive instructions detailing what needed attention. In the meantime I returned to the apartment to see for myself and was shocked. The floors had footprints all over them, the stove top, oven, microwave, washing machine and kitchen cupboards and benches had barely been touched. The whole place smelled of wet carpet. Completely unacceptable. After the first reclean the agent once again said the clean was not good enough and sent photos to show that barely anything had changed since the first clean. We ordered a further reclean which was apparently done but again was not up to standard. Eventually we had to pay for a whole new company to come in and conduct a proper clean. We ended up paying for two bond cleans. Throughout the process we sent photos and extensive emails detailing what the issues were but they were either never passed on to the employees carrying out the clean or were entirely ignored. Absolutely appalling.”

I wasn't made aware that a separate contractor was doing the carpets and pest treatment, or that the ceiling fans had to remain on afterwards. I had to call the office to clarify these points. One big plus - some other companies spammed me with calls and messages after I did an online quote. A1 Cleaning didn't, and this was the deciding factor for why I chose them.”
