“This company is terrible. Was failed on the first inspection for a tyre that was confirmed as roadworthy by a tyre place. On the second call had the rudest gentlemen that would not wait 10 minutes to do a manual DPF clean to clear the engine even though he stopped the clean to drive it which takes longer to do. This is a money hungry company looking to give any reason to fail and the call out fee is the same as the initial test”

“Had to pay up front before making a booking, but then there's no friendly cancellation possible. The car failed the roadworthy on problems that weren't there, caused major headaches with trying to sell it. Nothing worse than trying to fix a made-up mechanical problem, just because a roadworthy company wants the easy way of making a profit. They'll get your money ASAP and fail your car's roadworthy ASAP.”

“Do not use ASAP Mobile! False Advertising - On their website they say "We can carry out all types of car aircon or air conditioning cleaning services and repairs", "Air Conditioning Repairs", yet when I asked the technician if he was going to repair my leaking car aircon he said that they don't do repairs and he didn't repair my leaking car aircon. Non-compliance with the Australian code of practice for refrigerant systems - The code of practice says that adding refrigerant to refrigeration and air conditioning systems before checking for, and fixing, any leaks is not allowed. The technician added refrigerant to my car aircon without fixing the leaks, even though I told him that it went from very cold to no cold air in less than a day. Additionally the sound of leaking gas could be heard when I tested it straight after he left. Poor value for money - So to not have any repairs done, and non-compliance with the code of practice, and an aircon system that was still not working cost me $200. I won't be using ASAP ever again and I don’t recommend anyone else use them either.”

“!!! BEWARE !!!! No Communication, No Follow-up and No Customer Care at ALL!! They sub-contract roadworthy providers! You'd be far better off finding the actual person online that is the provider and save some money! You think you pay a premium and thats the level of service you would get... well... thats not the case. I bought a road worthy 3 months ago thinking i was going to sell my bike, the guy passed it with flying colours. Yesterday i had a buyer and the roadworthy had expired so i needed another one, $200 later they arrived. The next guy failed the bike. I've not ridden, touched or modified a speck of dust on the thing since the last inspection, but all of a sudden the bike is failing. ASAP roadworthys kept brushing me off, saying they'd followup with the inspectors and im still waiting on that phone call back. I'd highly recommend you go elsewhere. DO NOT GO THROUGH THESE GUYS!”

“Failed RWC for oil leak that the tech said “In my professional opinion has been badly leaking for over a year”. Told him,12mths ago asap did the RWC which it passed no problem. He replied “they’re not all as thorough as I am”. Got an independent technician to repair bad leak, he found no leak but presence of oil. He wrote report that no leak, traces of oil were due to sensor replacement months ago, oil present but no leak. Communication with asap was rubbish they don’t reply until last minute and basically say it’s all your problem and take it up with qld TMR. No you can’t get a different tech to do recheck because it’s your problem not ours. So basically they don’t care and we got your money so who cares. Another review said they think asap fail just to get the recheck money too, I’m thinking they might be onto something there… unless you question them, then they just want you gone. There are lots of other options for this service and they’re cheaper and better communication and service, look around don’t just take the first one that comes up asap come out quick but they only do the first thing quick nothing else”

“SCAM Absolute crap! Report is lazy asf, doesn't even say whats wrong just that something is wrong in an area and needs diagnosis no verbal report or explanation given just "need diagnosis" and fancy stars BS that doesn't actually mean anything. Me or anyone could've easily done the same job. Waste of nearly $500. SCAM Stay away!!!”

“I booked a roadworthy this morning and was aked to choose a time, I elected 10.30 which was aperfect fit for my day. After paying I was given a message that it would be between 10.30 and 2, that wasn't what I booked. I did wait about but had to go do some jobs but communicate dthat key would be in letter box, when I arrived home at 1.30 still no show, my daughter had a medical appointment to attend and had to leave at 2pm, I called office to be greeted by a nasty lady who just wanted to quote T's and C's which were not readily seen when I booked. Given the car was not going to be here when tech turned up I asked for refund only to be told $50 cancellation fee "they are in the T's and C's" , of course they were. Seems that I have been stitched up here, I need roadworthy, I would like this to happen at 4pm now, can you make that happen???”

“I had a safety certificate inspection booked for my boat trailer, it passed no problem and then took 8 days to receive the certificate due to a "technical issue" at the time of the inspection I was told that was all I needed to get the trailer Registered, turns out I needed a HVRAS measure up so I booked with them again they sent the same guy who was not qualified to carryout the measure up due to a booking error on their behalf. After talking with them on the phone they then tell me their is nothing they can do for me as they don't offer those services in my area and all they can offer me is a refund, and now I'm still stuck with an unregistered boat trailer 3 weeks later. Do not use this company they are terrible. Quick to take your money though.”

“unprofessional, upon turning up 10:40am 19/07/23 no introduction - within 2 mins, without so much as a hello, stated the engine was hunting & had a defect “oil leak”!! I originally laughed as a mechanic worked on it the day before 18/07/23, changing engine rocker cover gasket (the invoice/ receipt was on the seat so he could site) & also had a full service not 2 weeks prior (when the leaking gasket was identified). The “leaking oil” was repaired by changing the eng gasket. I explained what had happened, I wanted to clean the area, he said he didn’t have time.. he was there for 10 mins, It would have taken me 5 mins to degrease and clean the area in question. He told me he’d have to come back!!.. ( not likely, I’d just been ripped). So I took it straight down to the local mechanic who put it on a hoist & guess what… NO LEAK.. just oil residual, prior the gasket change the day before. He gave it a quick clean. They also gave me a “PASS” Roadworthy Certificate straight away after checking - 4 hrs after it was defected by ASAP Roadworthy. Not impressed at all. I’m not doubting, there was residual oil from the replaced gasket, though he could have waited 5- 10 mins for a quick clean down & then checked for a leak, he came all the way from Miami to West Brisbane. In response to your reply 4/10/23 You must be joking.. Again you showed how unprofessional your company is, it’s now been 3 months since This happened & your company ripped me off ( and you reply now after 3 months !!) If you want to see what you can do, then you can pay me back the $132. There was no misunderstanding, the person inspecting the vehicle, did not listen or want to understand.. He wanted another call back!!! Lastly who turns up in a footy jersey for work ? Again unprofessional !”

“Recently had a RWC done by Hayden and I give him 10 for turning up on time and 1 doing a RWC, and 1 for in shocking inspection and communication. Apart from a written report, they don't seem to offer a verbal follow up. There were several undetailed issues which failed the car. Asked which side was the cracked link pin boot which needed attention, turns out both needed replacement not just the left side. Several other things on the RWC weren't clear and didnt make sense so I reached out again the following day but no answer, I even emailed and rang the office who stated they'd get him to contact me but still no reply. Most other mechanics I've dealt with talk you through what they find but this was very generic with no more communication. Wouldn't waste my money here again paying $88 for a re-inspect hence the re-inspection was booked with another guy.”

“Absolute joke do not use at all. Paid $350 for a pre purchase inspection check and they completed a check on the wrong vehicle. They had contact details of the salesperson at the car yard so right vehicle could have been confirmed. They now want another $350 to conduct a check on the right vehicle. Don’t recommend this company at all, would give a zero but can’t. Customer service is appalling. Highly suggest using a reputable mobile pre purchase check company and not this crowd. Check out the recent bad reviews.”

“Feel like I've been taken for a ride and bled of money. It took 4 times to get my car passed by the same guy. First time, fair enough, the report had the wheels and tyres as a fail. Fixed them and had him come back. The second time he passes the wheels but said he wrote a bunch of short hand in the comments section that needed to be fixed. Didn't fail the corresponding categories nor did he call me to tell me about it. Was also charge full price for the reinfection even though it was within the 14 days. Took my time and had the vehicle garaged as I completed what he said needed doing. Got him back and an indicator I needed hadn't arrived by the time he turned up (it arrived the next morning later than expected) so that failed me. BUT he then says all the brake pads need replacing. Now, the vehicle hadn't moved since he was out last apart from shuffling around in a garage. So he stung me for another inspection. Not sure why he passed the brakes twice before and now they were a problem. The bloke had poor communication and a sour attitude. Would not recommend this company if you are on the west side of Ipswich. Can't speak for any of the other inspectors”

“WARNING SCAM $190 booking fee to fail inspection (they don’t do work to fix errors) tell you to call a gas fitter who can supply certificate anyway. Out of interest I asked for them to finalise the inspection & they said the guy plumber will do that or it will be another $150. Save your money and get a gas fitter.”

“they really are scammers. The "qualified inspector" failed to check the caravan properly. My caravan didn't pass because it was missing one electrical brake. So the same day I took it to mechanical shop, to my surprise it was complete with two working brakes, and the price for certificate was a fraction and issued same day. So now proceeding to complain to QLD Office of Fair Trade to get refund of the rip off price of $440 for Gas and Roadworthy Certificates that we did not get.”

“DO NOT USE. Such a scam and a waste of money, failed the smallest reasons just to get called out again, no thanks going elsewhere. Guy came out, not friendly, failed the car for silly reasons such as windscreen wipers not working, which they work very well the car was just dirty at the time and the steering wheel not in good condition even though it is in great condition.”

“Warning: please reconsider using ASAP Roadworthys to carry out your safety inspections. I recently trusted ASAP to complete an inspection of a 7m boat trailer carrying our new 6.3m fiberglass boat. Inspection was carried out on a Saturday at the boat ramp in Brisbane’s north side whilst the boat was out on a water test. After 10min onsite (most of this time was spent adjusting a wheel bearing) the trailer was signed off as being compliant. We purchased the boat and immediately drove home to the Sunshine Coast. When we got home and unhitched the trailer the boat suddenly started rolling away on a collision course with our shed and parked vehicle. After a mad scramble to chock the boat we inspected it further to see why the brake was not holding. We soon realized the following - no brake fluid. - A leaking brake caliper. - A caliper was seized onto the rotor. - No brake pads, only rusted brake pad backings. - One of the brake pistons had melted onto the brake backing pads, resulting in one of the brakes permanently being locked on. - All bearings need replacing with one just about completely seized All I can say is, thank goodness there was heavy traffic on the drive back to the Sunshine Coast. This ensures that we could not drive at the 110km speed limit. Thank god we didn’t have to pull up suddenly. And thank god my young children were not with us at the time. I have lodged a complaint with ASAP’s internal complaints resolutions team as they will not allow you to speak to a manager. Likewise they will not allow you to speak to someone from the resolutions team. Everything needs to be done by email. And they take a minimum of 10 business days to get back to you after making a complaint. Firstly, if a roadworthy company needs to have a “resolutions team” this leads me to think that they have a large number of complaints coming through. This should set anyones alarm bells off! ASAP Roadworthys do not believe there is an issue with their examiners inspection of our trailer. They even had the hide to comment that the faults were not there at the time of the inspection and could not have been inspected by the examiner. Firstly, the examiner had the wheel off the trailer, the same wheel where the brake caliper was leaking. He also didn’t have the boat on the trailer therefore had no obstructions to view the trailer. By engaging the trailer handbrake you can visually see movement of the brake pads, this should have been sighted as part of the inspection, it was clear that the handbrake application was not adjusting the brake pads therefore indicating the brakes are not functional. Lastly if he had of checked the brake fluid reservoir he would have seen no brake fluid. The negligence from ASAP Roadworthys is overwhelming. Needless to say, they are very lucky that there was not a major accident on the Bruce Highway northbound after a 2ton 7m boat/trailer roll over. On the higher end of the roadworthy scale at $165, I was expecting a thorough inspection. As a consumer you take a roadworthy inspection to be gospel. You put your trust in a company to ensure what you are driving/ towing is safe, not only for you but also for the community on the roads. Needless to say I have referred this matter to QLD department of transport for their review. If you are thinking of using ASAP roadworthys, I urge you to reconsider. Your life depends on it!”

“WARNING Do not use for your caravan for a gas certificate unless you know it will pass already. ASAP do not fix things, they tell you to get another gas fitter who is actually qualified to do it, then you are up for another $160 plus repairs. The Gas Man does everything, fixes and does the certificate in one go.”

“DON'T DO IT! defected on things just to get a second call out fee when they are overpriced already. We were lied to by reception staff and although it passed after us spending alot of money (that actually didn't need to be spent), we still haven't got the RW certificate! Not happy customers and would recommend everyone stick clear of ASAP roadworthys”
