“Paid to have an end of lease clean completed. Cleaners were lazy. Cut every corner they could. Didn't even cover off half the check-list the company provides to its customers OR finish the walls I paid extra to have done. There's was dust on skirting boards, windows that weren't touched, POO STILL IN THE TOILET!!! How do you miss that?! If I could add photos as proof I would. The customer service team was more helpful. They were apologetic and offered a partial refund. Not high enough though. The stars are for the customer service team NOT the cleaners. They get ZERO.”

“We used whizz for our end of lease clean. They were the most unprofessional company I have ever encountered. Not only did they fail to show up 3 times they then didn’t clean to a standard they had promised. Then when dealing with them and their guarantee we were met with consistently poor customer service and insufficient communication between team members, at one time calling both my partner and I at the same time from 2 different callers about the same issue. Do not recommend at all.”

“This company destroyed my valuable antiques. I needed a big truck, but they would not listen to me, so much of my belonging's got left behind, Then they had a smash and denied it happened, the first truck had to unload before going to get the rest of my thing's, the lies were unbelievable, I was told I have all my thing's and nothing was broken or missing, I had to let it go because after crying for weeks knowing tens of thousands of dollars of my valuables were gone, not counting the $11,000 plus for the move it got all too much it broke me. So please do not trust or use this company.”

“Terrible service. Whizz organised a removalist company that charged me 300X the quoted price. Whizz basically enables companies to rip you off and does nothing to protect their customers. I urge anyone to avoid them.”

“Really bad. They aren’t even a cleaning company, they are an outsourcing company with an offshore call centre. The cleaners they sent didn’t finish the job or the paid extras, and broke a blind. When you try to call them back, Whizz call centre staff AND their NSW area manager all start with “as per our terms and conditions, we can’t do a recall until we receive an end of lease inspection and photos from the real estate agent within 5 days.” They KNOW they’re terrible, and hide behind restrictive fine print to trick you. You’ll pay too dollar for a budget clean, they pocket the difference and do their best not to take responsibility.”

“A horrible customer experience across all areas of the business. To the website which didn't allow me to book more than 6 windows when I needed 10 cleaned- leading me to be underquoted, to the customer service team who incorrectly advised the cleaners rescheduled time - meaning the job was 'completed' a day late , to the cleaner whose poor time management meant external windows were cleaned in THE DARK, resulting in streaks and dirty areas, to the app which is utterly and painfully redundant.”

“HORRIBLE! They use third party cleaners which was fine but then they messed up the booking. I'd been honest in what was in store. The team turned up and looked completely unprepared to do the job. It was a clean to move out of a rented house - they didn't bring even a small step ladder - how were they going to clean high cupboards, light fixtures and given their own heights the top of doors etc. They were overwhelmed by the job and spend much time trying to contact Whizz. Instead of calling off the job they did a third of it and left early. Their report was then emailed through and they lied about what they said they'd done. Whizz made me jump through hoops before saying they'd get them to come back. So hours wasted because the team arrived late, hours producing a report and taking photos and another day taken out for them to come back? And you want me to let people who can't clean and who lie back into my home? No just lie but were legally fraudulent. No no no. It was a few stressful weeks before Whizz finally processed a full refund - I spent a lot of time chasing and hassling. Be careful - had I got someone else to clean in the meantime they would have used that as a reason not to refund any money. I eventually got the house cleaned but it also meant 3 weeks of rent lost sorting this out. If you read their Google Reviews this seems to be a common story about poor service and lack of customer service in resolution. They were horrible people to deal with and incompetent at doing the job. UPDATE: They tried to bribe me to take down this review. They brought back the situation and exacerbated it. Months and months later, they again brought back my distress by asking me to remove the manager's name in the review saying it was against TrustPilot Ts&Cs - fine, ok I disagree because I hink managers (not employees, but managers) should be accountable. Ask for that at the time of the review. The fact they did it several months later just brings it all back again - for crying out loud- this is my dead parent's house! They're deliberately being cruel with the handling of this. Now they're using my email for marketing.”

“Do not trust this company. If I could give them zero stars I would. They will not clean your apartment properly and then hide behind their 5 day warranty and that you haven’t met it. But if the property manager take’s a few days to inspect and then needs to write report they should acknowledge their poor work. The vents were not cleaned, the lights not cleaned, the toilet bowl dirty, grime around sinks and the list continues… Then to top it off we booked a steam clean carpets- these were not cleaned instead just vacuumed . The carpet should be refunded as they didn’t perform the steam cleaning as booked. The manager Sarah phoned me and explained due extenuating circumstances (floods in the east and obstetric complications in the west) they acknowledge their poor communication lapse. They have refunded the steam cleaning and we feel after the telephone conversation the situation is better. I will suggest that real estate companies need to be more in align with the cleaning companies to help end of lease cleans go more smoothly. Thankyou Sarah for helping to rectify the situation”

“The shifting guys were great but they didn’t bring a stairs trolley, only a wide one which didn’t fit the apartment stairs. So they carried each box individually and the final charge was double the original quote. Several heavy items were not moved. The manager’s justification was unconvincing. I’ll never use them again or recommend them.”

“If you love terrible cleaning, frustrating customer service and the opportunity to waste a lot of your time trying to sort out the mess this company will definitely leave you in then by all means book whizz, but I feel you probably want to avoid this so please do yourself a favour and go with anybody else, even if you only alternate is an asthmatic toddler.”

“Terrible. Avoid. Not too expensive, I'll give them that, but did not in any way provide the service they promised. Removalists were lovely but their truck was way too small. Didn't fit all of our furniture. Not by a long way. We had to do many, many, many trips to complete our move at great cost in time and money. Avoid.”

“Is there a zero rating? Booked s cleaning for 25th October and no one showed up. Is this how you do business? Ask customers for full payment and then leave it as is? You don’t know how we feel as we move houses- on how difficult it is physically and yet more emotional stress added. You don’t deserve your own tag line as leading cleaning services in Australia. Take that down. After speaking to someone- he offered me movie tickets for the anxiety and stress they gave. Very insulting… Pls review all comments before you consider this business. Always available when calling and doing follow up but when problem arises- they cant be reached???? Dont take this business. Find someone else.”

“End of lease clean, cleaners turned up 3 hours late and only cleaned the first floor. Refused to send the cleaners back under their guarantee. Took payment upfront and we had to pay another company to finish the cleaning. They were rude and dismissive when we complained. AVOID this company ! Save your money”

“Used their moving service last week for a 1 bedroom move, they charged me $1200!! Breakdown of communications from the very beginning has cost me 3 extra hours for the move! When I complained that they did not send the removalists with the right experience as discussed, their head of moving operations threatened to send the debt collectors on me when they've already charged me in full!”

“Where to begin! Whizz gave a reasonable quote for the removal of a 4 bedroom house and was in no way cheaper than any other removal company. They booked my move in for Saturday 9am. I then receive a phone call from a subcontracted removalist two days before move date stating that they have been double booked and won't start our move until 1pm. I tried to find another removalist to replace them but everyone was fully booked so we went ahead with the removalist 'Cut Rate Movers' that were subcontracted out by Whizz. I then had to follow up the company on Saturday at 1pm because they hadn't arrived. They then said they wouldn't arrive until 4pm. Because my husband and I assisted with the move we were luckily done by 8.15pm. The removalist broke the frame of a mirror and were well aware of the break. Whizz called the subcontractor on his phone then asked to speak to me. Whizz asked me if I was happy with the job whilst the subcontractor was standing in front of me listening and watching. I felt extremely uncomfortable raising anything considering one of the labourers mentioned he had been to jail a few times for violence. I then sent through photographic evidence to Whizz of the broken frame to which they stated "I will have to speak to the movers if they are aware of the damage and get back to you." Whizz then stated "I spoke to Andrew Cut Rate movers and he denied this damage to the wooden frame and he said you were very happy with the move and was not told about damage on the move day." To say I am annoyed is an understatement. Never use Whizz or Cut Rate Movers!”

“Recently arranged for Whizz to take care of an end of lease clean. Due to the property selling it was time critical (which was made clear when booking) additional rooms were booked as part of the arrangement. Despite all of the above Whizz tried to keep moving the cleaning date - causing multiple trips across town to collect keys. Entire rooms were missed from the clean, yes the cleaners attended the property a second time only to not address the agents issues and Whizz to add additional charges. The process was difficult and time consuming, and everything seemed to cost me additional charges and “be in the fine print” In addition I was really displeased to find the gardens covered in cigarette butts and rubbish after the cleaners had been. Will never use this service again, still waiting for Whizz to respond to my queries.”
